PRODUCTION ACTIVITY
The Fest 9 2010
Fest 9 returned to Gainesville with another massive three-day lineup, again centered on the community-driven punk and independent music culture that defined the event. The poster prominently lists Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, Suicide Machines, Leatherface, Municipal Waste, Strike Anywhere, Smoke or Fire, Torche, A Wilhelm Scream, High on Fire, Dead to Me, and Teenage Bottlerocket, supported by a huge additional lineup and promoted with the phrase 250+ Bands. With its fantasy-meets-punk artwork, long sponsor list, and emphasis on volume and variety, Fest 9 was advertised as a full-scale Gainesville music weekend bringing together nationally known acts, underground bands, and the broader DIY scene that surrounded the festival.
